One autumn day in 2014, I had the pleasure of playing with a sabre for the first time.

From then until now I have constantly been practicing HEMA with other colleagues and friends who are equally eager to hit each other with steel objects.

I tried many of the weapons which are part of HEMA, until I found my true love, the Longsword.

Many bruises, cuts and hits later, I'm still discovering how complex and versatile this weapon is.

Until May 2018, I held the roles of Longsword Instructor in the former version of the Beginner study level. And that of Pioneer, participating in the creation of the Curriculum for the former version of the Beginner study level, together with Andrei Chirlesan, Valentin Lungu and Ana Maria Petrescu.

At present, I have given up teaching and any other administrative duties in the club.

I hope that in the future the HEMA community in Romania will develop, and we will hit, cut and stab each other at as many local events as possible.
